NOTICE OF COUNCIL VACANCY
ON THE ALLIANCE CITY COUNCIL
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Alliance is accepting applications to fill a council member vacancy. The vacancy occurred on March 5, 2024. The vacancy was declared by Council Resolution No. 24-15, which describes the terms of the vacancy and which can be viewed at the office of the City Clerk upon request. Interested individuals must live within city limits and be a qualified registered voter. The appointed individual will serve until the first meeting in December following the regular city election on November 5, 2024. Applicants should submit a letter of interest and a completed Application Form. Application Forms can be obtained on the city website at https://www.cityofalliance.net or at City Hall, 324 Laramie Ave, Alliance, NE 69301. Applications should be promptly submitted to the City Clerk’s office, located at City Hall, by March 25, 2023.
